Unlike other fitness regimes, Pilates needs to be taught as a course and treated more as something you are studying for yourself rather than just an ‘exercise class’. Each course usually runs for an 8 week period and only during school term time. Group classes are limited to 12 people per class, your first trial class is only £5.

Private Classes

Lenka Pilates - Private Classes

Lessons in the comfort of your home for one or even two people if you wish to split the cost. Exercising one to one or in a small group allows the instructor to give you their full attention so that the classes are personalised to your specific needs and as a result, progression tends to be faster.

There might be certain medical conditions that you feel could restrict you from attending a group class, therefore private classes may be a suitable option for you. Private tuition gives you ultimate flexibility to choose your class time and location (subject to availability).

The cost for a private class is £35.00 for one person and £40.00 for two people.

If it's easy, it's probably not Pilates!

When teaching her classes, Lenka uses a carefully choreographed balance of Pilates with elements of Yoga & Mindfulness and a strong focus on precision of movement and posture. She will teach you:

  • How to engage your deep core muscles (which will help stabilize your pelvis and spine)
  • How to articulate your spine through flexion, extension, rotation and also highlight
  • The importance of effective breathing, synchronized with the movements to help both the mind and body to relax, recharge and focus

Each movement can be adapted to suit your ability level, from beginners through to advanced, allowing you to progress comfortably and at your own pace.

During each class, Lenka will be assessing your performance and making small adjustments to ensure you get the most out of every movement. This will assist you in reaching your personal goals and seeing faster results.

The classes are floor based matwork, with the use of small equipment, such as foam rollers, soft balls, resistance bands and Pilates rings.
