What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of corrective movement therapy. It can help improve posture and movement ability by rebalancing certain muscle groups.

Targeting the deep postural muscles that help to stabilize the spine, Pilates works by building strength from the inside out, bringing the body back into correct alignment.

Improved core stability and strength, reduction of back problems and recurring painful episodes, increased mobility and flexibility and the enhanced ability to relax and forget about daily stresses are just some of the many benefits of practising Pilates regularly.

It is a low impact form of exercise, ideal for those looking to rehabilitate injury or reduce back, neck or other muscular pain.
